Singapore’s Apple iPhone 15 Launch Draws Queues And Buyers From Across Southeast Asia

Maybe it’s the new titanium finish on the iPhone 15 Pro series, or that the iPhone 15 range has finally dropped Apple’s preference for proprietary cables and replaced it with the more common USB-C. Or it could be the fact that any iPhone launch is bound to draw attention and demand, but hundreds waited in line, some queuing from the day before, at electronic stores across Singapore today to be among the first to get their hands on Apple’s latest smartphones.

At the flagship Apple Store in the nation’s Orchard Road shopping belt, dozens waited in line from the day before, to secure one of the highly coveted for themselves. There were those who pre-ordered and opted to pick up the device from 8am at the store, while others, including travelers from Indonesia, Vietnam and India, waited patiently in line to buy a unit for themselves.
