Several Fan-Favourite Legendary Pokémon Return In New ‘Scarlet and Violet’ DLC

Go on another adventure in part two of the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Indigo Disk. With the return of iconic legendary Pokémon and all starters from previous generations, there’s plenty of reasons why the new DLC is a game-changer.

Most of The Indigo Disk takes place in Blueberry Academy – a school much like Paldea’s Uva Academy, but underwater and in an unspecified location in the Unova region, where the emphasis is on Pokémon battling, and possibly exploring more of Area Zero.

Players will get to challenge Blueberry Academy’s Elite Four students, participate in various challenges scattered across the school, and run into returning rivals Kieran and Carmine. There’s plenty of action-packed scenes with the back half of the trailer teasing more about Terapagos’ abilities, as well as battling opportunities.

And here’s the best part — you’ll even get to catch legendary Pokémon by doing quests to obtain snacks that might attract Ho-Oh, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Solgaleo, or Lunala. With more legendaries venturing by your side, battling will be a breeze!

Whether you’ve always wanted Charmander or Piplup in Scarlet and Violet, you can now catch as many of them as you want – and they’ll be easy to catch too. Simply complete the main game and the first part of the DLC, The Teal Mask, to access Blueberry Academy, as well as an area the spawns all of your favourite starter Pokémon across all the generations.

There are plenty of reasons why you should invest in Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, and if the thought of catching your favourite legendary Pokémon isn’t enough, you can even get a shiny Lucario and a Master Ball if you purchase it before 3 January 2024.

The Indigo Disk DLC hits the Nintendo E-Shop on 14 December 2023.
