SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are back again and have officially announced a sequel to their critically acclaimed Judgment video game.
Releasing on 24 September 2021, the sequel Lost Judgment will give fans a noir, action, and mystery thriller that weaves in elements of detective sleuthing and corruption within the law.
Lost Judgment will once again put players in the shoes of lawyer turned street fighting detective Takayuki Yagami as he investigates a seemingly perfect crime with his partner, ex-yakuza Masaharu Kaito. What starts out as a tale of revenge reveals a tangled web caused by several unlikely factions taking advantage of a broken law system. As bodies pile up, Takayuki has to decide between defending the law or exacting justice.
New to the Yakuza series game are freeform combat moves and stances, as well as investigative action that utilises new gadgets, stealthy tracking and crafty methods of infiltration.
Players can also get to see more of downtown Tokyo and Yokohama as they immerse themselves in authentic settings and locations. Players can game at Club SEGA and even take on cases from locals and more.
Lost Judgment launches worldwide on 24 September 2021 and is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
