Hello, Sidney, did you miss me?
The knife-wielding masked killer Ghostface is back, and this time, he’s hunting the one that got away, as the OG final girl, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), who has appeared in all the Scream films except its sixth chapter, is once again facing off against the deranged madman in Scream 7, the thrilling next chapter of the iconic slasher franchise that’s heading to cinemas on 2 March 2026.
Hailing from returning director Kevin Williamson, who helmed Scream (1996), Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 4 (2011), this latest chapter ups the stakes, especially for Prescott, as Ghostface isn’t just content with taking her life, but has also set his sights on her teenage daughter, Tatum Evans (Isabel May), although the killer obviously hasn’t learnt that you shouldn’t mess with a lionness and her cubs.
Co-starring other familiar return faces like Courteney Cox as series-staple Gale Weathers, Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher, Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis, Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown as siblings Chad and Mindy, alongside Scott Foley as Roman Bridger, who was Scream 3‘s Ghostface, Scream 7 is set to be not just the most violent entry to date, but also the most personal.
