Announced last August, Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! now has a release window locked in.
The game will first be released on the Oculus Quest Platform in June 2021, and make its way to SteamVR and Viveport later this year as well as PlayStation VR in 2022.
Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual is based on the the long time franchise of comics, animation and games. Written by Steve Purcell originally, the characters Sam & Max are vigilante private investigators who occupy a universe that parodies American pop-culture and solve extreme problems and cases.
HappyGiant, the studios who are developing Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! has recruited former LucasArts and Telltale developers to help with this new project and they’ve also included Steve Purcell himself.

And if you want to have yourself a go at the franchise, the remastered Sam & Max Save the World by Skunkape Games for PC and Nintendo Switch is an amazing start before the new title releases.
