RWBY is an American anime-style web series created by the late Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. Set in the fictional world of Remnant, the series follows four young Huntresses-in-training—Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long—as they battle the malevolent creatures known as the Grimm and uncover dark secrets within their world.
