Gotta…catch em…all! Sentosa is holding a mega Pokémon event from December 2021 to February 2022 dedicated to the adorable Eevee.
Making a comeback is the Pokemon Parade. This time, fans will catch the first edition of the Eevee Dance Parade where 15 larger-than-life Eevees will be marching and dancing against the scenic Sentosa sunset at Palawan Green for 30 minutes. The show will take place twice a day on stage at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm from 10 to 12 December 2021 and from 17 to 19 December 2021.
Sentosa Islander members will be among the first to catch the Eevee Dance Parade at a preview session on 9 December 2021. That’s not all, Sentosa will also be hosting an Eevee Dance Parade with Evolution Poncho to ring in the new year. From January February 2022, this special dance parade will see each Eevee don an adorable poncho that represents the eight Eevee evolutions.
Fans will have to register for an electronic ticket (QR code) through Sentosa’s Telegram chatbot, which can be found here. Registration for the first parade will start on 2 December, 10am whereas the second parade will be up from grabs from 14 Jan 2022. To qualify, fans will have to spend at least S$15 at any retail outlet, attraction, hotel or F&B establishment on Sentosa to register for one ticket. To snag two, fans have to show two separate receipts of at least S$15 or one receipt of at least S$30.
Each telegram account can register a maximum of two tickets and all guests must be fully vaccinated, or present a valid Pre-Event Testing Exemption Notice to watch the parades. Children 12 and below must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
Aside from the dance parades, Sentosa will also be hosting a digital Eevee Adventure Mission from 29 January to 20 February 2022 where guests can learn more about Pokémon and Eevee while exploring Sentosa island. Fans who complete the mission by correctly answering questions and fulfilling special missions can redeem exciting prizes.
For the occasion, a six-meter-tall inflatable Eevee will be placed on Sentosa, in addition to a Pokémon Center pop-up.
