Netflix’s ‘Devil May Cry’ Season 2 Sneak Peek Arms Dante With His Iconic Twin Pistols

Netflix has unveiled a new sneak peek for Devil May Cry Season Two, this time spotlighting the demon hunter Dante as he receives his two signature guns, Ebony and Ivory.

The brief teaser not only shows off Dante’s slick moves with his favourite two girls, but it also offers a better look at the weapons themselves, which have been rather faithfully recreated in animated form, featuring the same M1911-style chassis, alongside the portraits of Nell Goldstein, the gunsmith who made them, on each of their grips, and even the cursive engravings on each of the weapon’s slide bearing their name alongside text that reads “For Tony Redgrave By .45 Art Warks”.

Aside from Dante receiving his guns, Devil May Cry Season Two will see the showdown between him and his brother, Vergil, with showrunner and executive producer Adi Shankar previously teasing in an interview with Collider that his mission for the second season was to “capture the feeling of a 2000s film franchise entry where the audience can’t predict the next turn.”

With the introduction of Vergil, Season Two brings a character who is the polar opposite of Dante and his infinite energy, as Vergil’s composure is set to be one of the more compelling aspects of the character. “The interesting part is that Vergil’s a guy who can stand completely still and still feel like the most dangerous one in the room,” explained Shankar. “His presence does the talking.”

Johnny Yong Bosch and Robbie Daymond will return as Dante and Vergil, respectively, while Scout Taylor-Compton will voice Lady. Devil May Cry Season Two will land on Netflix on 12 May 2026, with its synopsis reading:

A war between worlds ignites as Dante must battle the only force that mirrors his own: his estranged twin brother Vergil. In Devil May Cry Season 2, Dante must confront his own devils and the feeling of family he lost as a child. With the reemergence of Vergil, will Dante lay to rest old demons or fall victim to them?
