Marvel Posts 8-Hour-Long Clip Of Wolverine Breathing For National Stress Awareness Month

Feeling stressed? Marvel is here to help, as the company has just published an eight-hour-long “breathing exercise” featuring Hugh Jackman decked out in his costume from last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine standing menacingly and breathing into the camera, all to celebrate National Stress Awareness Month.

The video, cheekily labeled “Marvel Ambiance”, has an equally tongue-in-cheek description, which reads: “April is National Stress Awareness Month, so breathe deep and feel your adamantium bones melt away.” Despite its dumbfounding context, the clip has already raked in over 200,000 views on YouTube at the time of writing. It seems hearing Jackman growl in their ears for eight hours straight really does help Marvel fans de-stress after all.

To complement his menacing stare and gravelly breaths, the entire clip is backed by tense Marvel music, which can certainly be meditative for some. Those who stick around to watch its entire lengthy runtime are even treated to a few jumpscares scattered throughout, which sees Jackman recreating the iconic pose from the cover art of the original 1982 comic book, accompanied by sudden loud music sure to give the unaware a jolt.

With Jackman’s appearance as Wolverine almost a year after the release of Deadpool & Wolverine and five months from the movie’s premiere on Disney+, it’s unclear if this is a sign that the duo will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the near future, although Marvel has recently revealed a large portion of its cast for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday in May 2026, to which both Jackman and Ryan Reynolds was notably absent. But with Channing Tatum’s return in the film as Gambit from the 2024 Deadpool flick, there’s still hope that the dynamic duo would see another team-up in 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
