LEGO is going up, up, up with its partnership with Netflix, as the pair have announced a new collaboration with sets based on the massive animated hit, KPop Demon Hunters, due for release across 2026 and 2027.
LEGO broke the news via an announcement post on its official website, revealing that one set would be available for pre-order in Spring 2026, followed by its release in Summer, with additional sets on the way in 2027. The company also posted a teaser for this year’s set, depicting the Lego-fied foot of Derpy, the supernatural blue feline creature from the film, knocking over a flowerpot.
According to LEGO, this set will be “designed for ages 9+” and “is great for both play and display”, meaning it is simultaneously targeted at its younger audiences while still providing a build complex enough for adult collectors. With the briefest of teasers, it’s also unclear if the set would feature Sussie, too, the six-eyed supernatural magpie often seen together with Derpy.
Additionally, while no specifics on the 2027 sets were announced, LEGO described that they will “expand the LEGO KPop Demon Hunters universe with new creative play opportunities”, so fans can expect brick versions of the movie’s various set pieces featuring the HUNTR/X trio of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, or even the villainous Saja Boys.
Since its debut in late August, the animated flick has become a worldwide sensation with over 300 million views on Netflix, making it the streamer’s most-watched show to date. The film also spawned a phenomenal soundtrack, including “Golden”, the hit song written by singer-songwriter EJAE (who also provides the singing voice for Rumi), which topped the Billboard global charts for numerous weeks and became the first K-Pop song to win a Grammy. With such a level of success, it’s no surprise that LEGO is tapping into the IP’s raw potential, providing an interactive way for fans of all ages to bring to life their favourite scenes from the movie.
The LEGO KPop Demon Hunters Derpy set will release in Summer 2026, with more sets to come in 2027.
