Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the prequel anime movie to the dark fantasy shounen anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, will be released in theatres in March 2022 outside of Japan. A new trailer has been uploaded by Crunchyroll to drum up excitement for the action-packed movie.
While the trailer itself doesn’t reveal new information, it shows us glimpses of popular characters from the original anime series, such as Gojo, Panda, Inumaki, and Zenin. The movie premiered in Japan in December 2021 to both commercial and critical acclaim as it doesn’t shy away from the darker themes while still delivering spectacular fight scenes.
This prequel movie is coming at just the right time for those who can’t get enough of Jujutsu Kaisen, especially since the second season of the original series won’t be released until 2023.
The movie will be released in theatres in the US on 18 March, but those in Singapore get to catch the movie almost two weeks earlier, on 5 March 2022.
