One month after its unveiling in December 2025, Huawei is now bringing its flagship Mate X7 foldable smartphone to our shores, with the S$2,398 device now open for pre-orders.

Boasting technological advancements in design, performance, and durability, the Huawei Mate X7 embraces modern aesthetics with its design, featuring a bold “Time-Space Gate” camera module sporting three-dimensional crystal cutting and curved surfaces.
It isn’t all just for show, however, as beneath the aesthetics lies a beefy professional-grade camera setup, with a True-to-Colour camera system that delivers 43 percent better colour reproduction and 96 percent greater light intake compared to the Mate X6, allowing for vibrant images even in challenging lighting conditions.
With its quad-element optical design and a 0.4mm glass lens, the Mate X7’s 50 megapixel ultra lighting HDR main shooter ensures clarity and optimal exposure while maintaining the device’s ultra-slim chassis, which measures just 4.5mm thin when unfolded. In addition, its 50 megapixel telephoto macro camera also incorporates an industry-first compact periscope system with 3.5x optical zoom, with the device’s tri-lens setup rounded off with a 40 megapixel ultra-wide lens.

As a foldable device, durability remains at the forefront of buyer consideration, and Huawei aims to excel in this department as well with the Mate X7’s three-layer composite structure that protects the structural integrity of its inner screen from impacts, creasing, and ageing. This protection is further bolstered by its Crystal Armour Kunlun glass front panel, an aviation-grade aluminium middle frame and brocade fibre back cover, providing all-rounded durability with IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance.
Huawei’s commitment to performance extends to the Mate X7’s interior technologies too, as under the hood lies a beefy high-capacity 5,600mAh battery to ensure extended productivity even on demanding days, with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge support to reduce downtime. To complement extended usage, the device also features a 3550mm² SuperCool ultra-large VC & graphene heat dissipation system, so it stays cool and responsive even while gaming or multitasking.
Priced at S$2,398, the Huawei Mate X7 comes in three colourways – Brocade White, Nebula Red and Black – and is now available for pre-order in Singapore at Huawei Experience stores, official online stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop or partnering retailers.
