Genshin Impact fans and future Dehya mains, Phase One of the upcoming 3.5 update is less than a few days away from its 1 March release. Since the 5-star Pyro character was originally previewed on Genshin Impact‘s social media accounts and included in the main Archon quest in 3.1, players have been waiting for Dehya to become playable.
Dehya wields a claymore weapon and is a Pyro character. Her skill boasts an excellent AoE Pyro attack that also increases the interruption resistance of active characters on the field. Players who tuned into the version 3.5 livestream would know that Dehya will be added to the Standard banner after version 3.6, joining the likes of other permanent 5-star characters Jean, Mona, Keqing, Diluc, Qiqi, and Tighnari.
Materials, abilities, and Dehya’s best-in-slot weapon have previously been datamined through Honey Hunter World. To get the most out of the character, players who manage to obtain her from this event or the standard banner must ascend her and her talents.

Where To Farm Dehya’s Materials
Sand Grease Pupa
This husk can be found in Sumeru’s desert area, especially in the Wenut Tunnels. It is described to have a hardened grey shell to “protect the Unagi larval bodies of the unagi”, and was made available recently in Version 3.4, so start farming!
Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, and Rich Red Brocade
These Eremite enemy drops were first introduced in the Sumeru region and can be scaled up to obtain Trimmed Red Silk and Rich Red Brocade. Any of the Red Satin items can be obtained as a drop from Eremite enemies. Vanguards, Crossbows, Ravenbeak Halberdiers, Linebreakers, Sword-Dancers, Desert Clearwaters, Sunfrosts, and Daythunders are all included. Players can also obtain these materials from the Stardust Exchange.
Light Guiding Tetrahedron
The new Light Guiding Tetrahedron item can be obtained as a drop from a level 30-plus Semi-Intrasient Matrices. Players will have to fight the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network boss inside a pyramid. Use Electro attacks or the Catalyze elemental reaction to eliminate the invisibility cloak and defeat this world boss.
Agnidus Agate
Any Pyro character must ascend using the Agnidus Agate jewels. These jewels are dropped by the Pyro Regisvine, Pyro Hypostasis, and Primo Geovishap, but players can also purchase Dust of Azoth from the Stardust Exchange and convert other kinds of jewels.
Talent Ascension Materials
Dehya’s ascension books are Teachings of Praxis, Guide to Praxis, and Philosophies of Praxis, all of which are available from the Steeple of Ignorance domain in Sumeru on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Puppet Strings are also required, which can be obtained from the weekly boss Shouki no Kami in the Joururi Workshop domain. A Crown of Insight is needed for each level 10 talent, which can be obtained during limited-time events.
Best Dehya Weapon
Beacon of the Reed Sea, Dehya’s signature weapon, will be ideal for her. After an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, your attack stat will be increased by 20 percent for eight seconds, which also takes effect when you take damage. These two effects can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, your character’s Max HP will be increased by 32 percent.
Best Dehya Artifacts
Players should farm the Pyro Bonus artifact set, Crimson Witch of Flames. This artifact set increases Overloaded, Burning, and Burgeon damage by 40 percent, and Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15 percent. Using Elemental Skill increases the 2-Piece Set Bonus by 50 percent of its starting value for 10s.
Dehya will be featured on the first banner of the 3.5 update when it launches on 1 March 2023, and on the Standard banner from version 3.6 onwards.
