‘Honkai: Star Rail’ Has Fans Ass-king About Topaz’s Butt Reduction

New patch, new playable characters. As part of Honkai: Star Rail‘s patch 1.4, Topaz and her buddy Numby will be featured as the boosted 5-Star character on the Sunset Clause Banner. However, fans are up in arms over a perceived nerf to the character… her butt, that is.

Topaz is a 5-Star Fire character follows the path of The Hunt, and is constantly accompanied by her trusty Warp Trotter, Numby. She leads the Special Debts Picket Team, tasked with “debt retrieval” duties in the game. Interestingly, Numby serves as a vital asset in Topaz’s debt-collecting endeavors, thanks to the Warp Trotter’s remarkable ability to detect the scent of affluence from considerable distances.

With the release of Topaz as a playable character in the game, fans have made comparisons between the character’s playable model and her previous appearances in the game, sighting a supposed reduction to the character’s butt size.

This has led to lengthy discussions on Reddit and other social platforms, with some fans expressing rage and disappointment while others attempt to rationalise the change due to varying camera angles and the way the character model is positioned.

Some players have even reached out to the Honkai: Star Rail Customer Support Team, which later confirmed that “there were no anomalies detected on Topaz character model.”

One thing is certain: this incident has shown the importance of not provoking fans’ devotion to their beloved waifus.
