Gundam Base Singapore Lands At Jewel Changi Airport In Early 2026

Gunpla fans are in for a treat, as The Gundam Base is cleared for launch and heading right to Singapore, with the official flagship store opening a permanent outlet at Jewel Changi Airport in early 2026.

As announced via the BandaiHobby Facebook page, which is run by Bandai’s official South Asia arm, fans of Gunpla can expect all the bells and whistles that come with the opening of any The Gundam Base store, including exclusive Gunpla releases, building workshops for both novices and enthusiasts, alongside displays of iconic Gunplas throughout the years.

While the nature of said exclusives has yet to be revealed, fans can expect kits that are exclusive to the Singapore outlet, similar to the Tokyo outlet’s Unicorn Gundam (Luminous Crystal Body), possibly one themed after our nation’s colours of red and white.

The opening of The Gundam Base Singapore adds to the 18 current outlets around the world, with the latest addition being at the Siam Center in Bangkok, Thailand, the first outlet in Southeast Asia opened on 11 November 2021. Alongside Singapore, the flagship store will also launch an outlet in Chicago on 12 December 2025.

The Gundam Base Singapore will be a permanent outlet at Jewel, and follows a past pop-up event in August this year, which was also situated at Jewel and lasted for ten days. Fans eagerly anticipating the launch of the official store can also check out the Singapore Comic Con 2025 happening on 6 and 7 December, which is also set to feature a dedicated The Gundam Base booth fit with event-exclusive kits.
