Geek Review: LG C1 48″ OLED 4K TV

Buying TVs used to be a simple affair. However, with the advent of modern-day GPUs and consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the ball is in the TV manufacturer’s court to make sure there are no bottlenecks.

Armed with ample HDMI 2.1 ports, the LG C1 4K OLED TV is by far one of the best TVs right now in the market that will be future-proof in the years to come.

Trust us, we’ve tried it in action –

Hooked up to an NVIDIA RTX 3080 and an Xbox Series X, the LG C1 performed brilliantly at all the games we threw at it. Something that didn’t come as much of a surprise.

Touting a resolution of 3840  x 2160, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 1ms response time, the LG C1 ticks off all the boxes that anyone will be looking for in a modern TV. The only thing missing? We could have used DisplayPort support but it seems to be asking a lot from LG which has strived to pack plenty into it all.

Let us know in the video comments above if there are any more questions you might have with the LG C1, we’re happy to help!

Summary

If you’re here looking for more reason to get the LG C1, you probably have it in your cart already. If price is a concern, the LG CX remains a solid pick if you don’t need that extra 20Hz.
