After four editions since its inception in 2021, Gamescom Asia is moving away from its home grounds of Singapore, officially merging with fellow gaming showcase Thailand Game Show from 2025 onwards.
The new partnership, dubbed Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show, aims to position itself as Southeast Asia’s ultimate business and launch platform for the games industry and its fans. Attendees of the event can look forward to a dedicated business area, expert-led gaming conference sessions and the latest in all things gaming, be it AAA or indie titles, live experiences, cosplay or exclusive showcases.

“This partnership is a game-changer for the region’s games industry. Gamescom Asia’s success has been built on a solid foundation in Singapore, where it has flourished since its inception in 2021, positioning Southeast Asia as a hub for gaming innovation,” said Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and VP of Asia Pacific at Koelnmesse, organiser of Gamescom Asia, “By joining forces with Thailand Game Show, we are unlocking unprecedented opportunities to connect global video game players with one of the world’s most vibrant and passionate gaming communities.”
Since its inaugural edition in 2021, Gamescom Asia has established itself as a key gaming event in Singapore, with its most recent edition last year attracting over 40,000 attendees across 78 countries and 177 exhibitors. Thailand Game Show has grown to become one of Southeast Asia’s largest gaming events since 2006, with its latest iteration last year drawing over 185,000 visitors and 50 exhibitors.
Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show will take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand, from 16 to 19 October 2025. For more information, check out the official Gamescom Asia website.
