To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Game of Thrones, Warner Bros. and Danish craft beer company Mikkeller have come together to bring us a range of beers inspired by the phenomenal HBO series.
Over the next few years, there will be more beers released, but for now, we have the Iron Anniversary IPA. It is a New England IPA (NEIPA), which is known for its hazy, unfiltered appearance, and fruity aroma which arises from the high amount of hops.
It is a style of beer that has been growing in popularity in recent years.
Two more beers are planned to be launched in 2021, and there will be several more Game of Thrones-inspired beers coming out over the next few years. The imaginative and deep lore of Game of Thrones will be fertile ground for Mikkeller to draw inspiration from and brew a wide variety of beers.
