As with tradition, the first Saturday of May every year is the ever awesome Free Comic Book Day. This year, it is even more fun as it also takes place on May 4, otherwise known as Star Wars Day!
Comic book readers and enthusiasts have even more reasons to head to your local comic shop and join in the fun. You can meet fellow comic lovers, grab a free comic, and even some goodies if you are early.
G&B Comics are giving away this gorgeous Avengers pin with minimum purchases of $50, and is limited to the first 100 customers.
Not only that, you can even meet comic book artist, Shane Davis, at the store from 12 – 3 PM! He is best known for his work on both Superman and Batman for DC Comics.
And of course, Kinokuniya will also be participating in this year’s Free Comic Book Day as always.
In anticipation of the crowds, the retailer also opened up their FCBD pre-order earlier in the year to save consumers time.
