EA Delays ‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ To April For Quality And Polish

If you are a fan of Star Wars and video games, then there is no doubt that Respawn Entertainment and EA‘s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is on your radar. Originally set for a March release, the team has decided that in order to reach a quality level they are happy with, a delay for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was unavoidable. Now, fans will reunite with Cal Kestis on 28 April instead.

In a statement, director Stig Asmussen shared more about the delay, explaining that the team is focused on polishing the final release while enhancing performance.

“In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th,” Asmussen said.

Hopefully, this delay for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will indeed see fewer bugs and glitches, while the entire experience is made better when it comes to stability and player experience. Respawn Entertainment CEO and Group GM Vince Zampella also chimed in, saying that Respawn is “dedicated to making games that feel good to play.”
