‘Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero’ Game Trailer Sees Goku Vs. Vegeta Showing Off Transformations

Get ready for an epic showdown in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the newest Dragon Ball game which unveiled a gameplay trailer during Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024. Fans were treated to a showdown between Goku and Vegeta that showed off their various transformations in an epic duel, calling back to the pair’s many battles across the Dragon Ball story, from their first encounter as Saiyan warriors to their Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms. 

The game confirmed at least Goku’s Super Saiyan 2 and 3 forms, and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 1 and 2 forms in the fight, as well as Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, possibly grouping them into Saga-specific forms. Offering a first look at each character’s signature powers and Ki abilities, it also teases some thrilling battle action to come.

First revealed during The Game Awards 2023, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero marks the the first entry in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series in more than 15 years. The upcoming brawler is speculated to have one of the largest rosters in the franchise, including fan-favourites from the original game, spanning up to the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime, making it a highly-anticipated release.
