Who needs the Justice League, when we have the DC League of Super-Pets coming to our rescue with its first official teaser trailer. Although not much action can be seen from the 27-second video, what we know is that it will be filled by an all-star cast.

The pack will be led by Dwayne Johnson as Superman’s canine Krypto along with Kevin Hart, who will be lending his voice as Ace the Bat-Hound. Besides the pair, the cast also includes Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves, though their roles in the animated movie have yet to be disclosed.

Additionally, helming the film is writer and director Jared Stern from Warner Bros and Warner Animation Group, with Sam Levine co-directing. Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions is behind the project as well, with Johnson himself, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia producing. Executive production will be done by John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, and Nicholas Stoller.

DC League of Super-Pets will be based on characters from DC’s Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and is slated for release on 20 May 2022.
