The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change, and a brief Black Adam teaser revealed at DC FanDome proves just how.
In the short teaser presented by actor Dwayne Johnson, we see Black Adam summoned in an ancient temple. A group of mercenaries approaches him and the titular character immediately turns around and grabs one of them by the throat.
Fueling lightning, Black Adam later fries the guy to nothing else but bones, and later ashes. The mercenaries start shooting at Black Adam and of course, he catches one of the bullets with his fingers.
The teaser later ends with Black Adam levitating and getting shot at multiple times. Except, the bullets do absolutely nothing to him.
Needless to say, Johnson was born to play Black Adam and the character’s debut in the DC Universe is definitely going to shake things up.
Black Adam is releasing on 29 July 2022.
