Cyberpunk 2077 Allows You To Customise And Even Combine Your Genitals

CD Projekt Red is going all out with Cyberpunk 2077, from free-flow profanity-spewing to brutal, gory savagery. There’ll be plenty of sexy times, too (nothing new, if you played The Witcher 3), but this time, things are set to get even steamier…or more interesting, depending on how you customise your genitals.

Yes, you read that right, and no, it’s not a joke. Apart from messing around with the usual customisation features, the highly-anticipated sci-fi title will allow you to alter genitalia however you like, including combining parts from both the male and female anatomy.

The ESRB rating summary of Cyberpunk 2077 reads, “The game contains nudity and sexual material: Players can select a gender and customize their character; customization can include depictions of breasts, buttocks, and genitalia, as well as various sizes and combinations of genitals.

Players can encounter events where they have the option to engage in sexual activities with other main characters or prostitutes—these brief sex scenes (from a first-person perspective) depict partially nude characters moaning suggestively while moving through various positions. Some scenes contain brief depictions of thrusting motions; other scenes depict a character’s head moving towards a partner’s crotch.”

In a world that’s rooted in heterosexual agenda, that’s a pretty cool feature, allowing for the sexuality exploration and diversity. The possibilities are endless, but more than that, the team has emphasised on the shared aim to make an inclusive video game. In an interview with Metro last year, senior concept artist Marthe Jonkers said, “We really want to make a video game that’s really inclusive. You don’t choose your gender anymore. You don’t choose, ‘I want to be a female or male character.’ You now choose a body type. Because we want you to feel free to create any character you want.”

As should be the case. Beyond the nudity and strong sexual content, Cyberpunk 2077 will also feature extreme violence when it drops on 17 September 2020, such as “mutilated corpses with open chest cavities and/or exposed organs/entrails”, and having the player “assist a character by hammering nails through his hands and feet; screaming sounds and blood effects accompany the scene”. Poor guy.
