MSI Claw X Fallout Limited-Edition Handheld PC Pip-Boy Debuts At Computex 2024

The apocalypse is still years ahead of us, but there’s no better time to gear up than now with a limited-edition MSI Claw X Fallout handheld gaming device. Announced at Computex 2024, it comes on the heels of revived interest for the video game franchise, which saw a significant player boost after Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV series garnered widespread popularity.

Studio Bethesda, which is behind the Fallout games, collaborated with MSI on the handheld PC, which has a rugged, post-apocalyptic design perfect for vault dwellers looking to accessorise. There’s plenty of elements that made it into the console, including a Vault Boy logo, a colour scheme inspired by the games and a VATS-themed screen.

With a little bit of work, you can turn it into an actual Pip-Boy, much like the ones in the games. Boasting the largest battery in the industry, superior cooling, as well as joysticks and triggers equipped with Hall effect sensors, the MSI Claw running on Windows 11 allows for on-the-go gaming with a 7-inch display.

The device was revealed alongside other new MSI offerings, including the next generation of AI-powered gaming and productivity laptops. Unfortunately, at the time of reporting, it seems MSI currently doesn’t have any plans to release this Fallout-themed MSI Claw, but perhaps they will be gauging the interest level before making a decision.
