Bethesda Has Started Early Development For The Elder Scrolls 6

Now that Starfield is released into the universe for gamers to experience, fans are waiting with bated breath for their next adventure: Returning to the fantasy realm of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls 6. After five years, we’ve (finally) received news that Bethesda Softworks’ has brought the game into its early development stages.

In an interview with Bethesda’s Head of Publishing Pete Hines on the release of Starfield, Hines confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 has completed its pre-production stage and entered its development phase. He assured fans that “there are people [in Bethesda] working on the game”, however, they will not be hearing anything regarding the game anytime soon as Starfield remains to be in Bethesda’s current focus instead.

With The Elder Scrolls 6 still in its early stages of development, any further information regarding it would probably still be years away. The game’s initial announcement may have been planned too early as Bethesda’s Director Todd Howard recently expressed that it should have been announced “more casually”. Regardless, fans can visit Tamriel again by walking the land of Skyrim or look to the stars with Starfield for now.
