‘Attack on Titan’ Manga Reportedly Returning With 18-Page Chapter In 2024

Attack on Titan brought the Rumbling to an end in 2021, but it seems creator Hajime Isayama isn’t quite done with the world just yet. As the truly final leg of the anime nears the climax later this year, word on the vine is that the series will return with an 18-page chapter and an art book in 2024.

There’s no official announcement just yet, but reputable Twitter account Anime News and Facts reported a 30 April release for the project. No other details were revealed, sparking discussion and speculation among fans that the new chapter could present a fix to the original ending of the manga, which was highly controversial.

Others are placing their hopes on an epilogue and update to the fates of the surviving characters, although a spin-off one-shot is also possible. Regardless, fans should take the information with a grain of salt until there’s further confirmation.

There isn’t official word for the premiere of the anime’s finale, either. However, an unlisted video — now made private — on Anime Pony Canyon’s channel accidentally unveiled a 4 November release, which aligns with the upcoming anime’s Fall 2023 release window.
