While 2020 has seen the absence of a giant show that celebrates video games as a medium, plenty of developers and publishers have stepped in to fill the gap. Come 12/13 July, Ubisoft will be hosting their own Ubisoft Forward event. The digital conference is set to show off the latest and greatest of Ubisoft projects.
Unfortunately, if you were hoping for a surprise, that wait might need to be a little longer. In a tease of the event, clips of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, and the new battle royale Hyper Scape took centre stage.
Notable games that are missing thus far are Gods & Monsters, as well as Skull & Bones. The latter has been missing since being announced in 2017, with both games experiencing delays in recent times. Fans of the Far Cry series are also awaiting a sequel, so that might just be the surprise of the show.
Ubisoft Forward takes place on 13 July 3 AM (GMT+8).
