Aftershock’s APEX 17 Packs A 17-inch Laptop Into A 15-inch Chassis

Having a 15-inch laptop in the body of a 13-inch device is pretty much the calling card for many laptop makers these days, but so far, none have produced a mass market 17-inch  laptop that can fit into a 15-inch frame. Until now.

If you’re in the market for a laptop capable of delivering beautiful, sprawling graphics and a smooth, seamless gameplay experience, but aren’t too fond of having to lug around a behemoth, Aftershock latest Apex 17 may be the solution to your long-suffering dilemma.

Their brand new APEX 17 will give you a very enviable 144Hz 17.3-inch display, framed by incredibly thin bezels to get that bulk down to a frame comparable with a 15.6-inch laptop. At 2.5kg, you’ll be getting all those delicious visuals, without the muscle-straining drawbacks — sounds like a dream come true to us, really.

And that’s not all you’ll be getting. The APEX 17 will come with a silent mechanical keyboard boasting individual RGB key lighting, which makes it discreet, comfortable and aesthetically versatile. Like others in its line, it’ll also be sporting a powerful cooling system, and is customizable upon request.

Starting from S$2285, the APEX 17 is available on Aftershock’s website here.
