The long-awaited sequel to 2014’s Alien: Isolation is finally confirmed at the Summer Game Fest 2026. Alien: Isolation 2 is set to drag players back into the suffocating grip of survival horror, pitting them once again against cinema’s most ruthless predator, the Xenomorph.
This time, the hunt unfolds on a storm-lashed colony world, where players must battle the elements and navigate the claustrophobic corridors of Weyland-Yutani’s Kurosaki Station. With a new protagonist, fresh story, and hostile terrain, survival demands improvisation, new tools, and sharper tactics in a relentless game of cat-and-mouse.

Creative Director at Creative Assembly, Al Hope teased the sequel: “It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel. Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer.”
Alien: Isolation 2 will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
