KPop Demon Hunters might have already taken the global film industry by storm, but now, the musical trio HUNTR/X has set their sights on conquering the gaming world too, with a collaboration with Epic Games’ hit Battle Royale Fortnite that brings new skins and a special game mode.
The crossover adds a number of additions to the Fortnite store, including outfits and accessories for its leading trio, Rumi, Mira and Zoey. In addition, players will also be able to purchase emotes such as the film’s iconic ramyeon slurping scene, alongside bundles encompassing multiple items.
In terms of gameplay, the crossover will bring some unique weapons and items earned by completing quests during the Battle Royale and Blitz game modes, including Rumi’s Empowered Sword, Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield, and Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon. Players will also be able to teleport around the map using a new item, the Derpy Teleporter Mask, shaped after the iconic cat creature from the film.
Fortnite’s Horde Rush mode is also set to make a return, this time named Demon Rush. In this limited-time mode, players will team up with the musical trio to face off against waves of demons, equipping various KPop Demon Hunters-themed perks between each phase. The mode will run from 2 October to 1 November 2025.
Fortnite’s KPop Demon Hunters crossover will begin on 2 October 2025.
