ASUS OLED Laptops Reign Supreme With Multi-Display Devices & First True Gaming Displays

ASUS is revolutionising the laptop market with its trailblazing multi-display models, as well as in pioneering the first true gaming OLED displays, reaffirming its status as a leader in innovative laptop technologies. With the unveiling of the 2024 Zenbook Duo, ASUS completes its extensive range of multi-display offerings, setting a new standard for productivity and entertainment on the go.

Since debuting their Project Precog dual-screen AI-powered laptop concept in 2018, ASUS has relentlessly pushed the envelope in multi-display and OLED technology. The fruits of this labour are evident in the Screenpad and Screenpad Plus features, found in various Zenbook and Vivobook models, which enhance user interactivity and multitasking capabilities.

The company’s investment in research and development has yielded a variety of form factors and the ScreenXpert software, which enhances the multi-display user experience. Unlike competitors who may not have prioritised these innovations, ASUS has dedicated substantial resources to developing a diverse portfolio of multi-display laptops, catering to both general consumers and specific professional needs.

The growth in the multi-display laptop sector is expected to surge as consumers become more aware of the benefits these models offer. ASUS stands ready to meet this growing demand, armed with a diverse lineup that caters to a broad spectrum of users. Their ongoing dominance in the OLED laptop market is expected to continue, with ASUS celebrating its third consecutive year as the world’s top OLED laptop brand.

The innovation extends to gaming, where ASUS introduces the world’s first OLED displays with Nvidia G-Sync and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), through the new Zephyrus G14 and G16 models. These gaming laptops not only boast high refresh rates of 120Hz and 240Hz respectively, but also feature a blazing-fast 0.2ms response time, making them a top choice for serious gamers.

Research conducted by ASUS through Pollfish in 2023 reveals a significant interest in multi-display laptops, with 87% of users expressing intrigue. A majority believe that dual-display laptops could enhance their productivity, a sentiment that ASUS has capitalised on by selling over a million units to overwhelmingly positive feedback.

In terms of market share, ASUS has achieved a commanding 58% of the global OLED laptop market, significantly outpacing competitors. Their sales volume is three times that of the second-place brand, which is primarily confined to its domestic market. This success can be attributed to the strategic partnership with Samsung, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality OLED panels that enable ASUS to offer a wide array of models at competitive prices.

To address potential concerns about OLED durability, particularly regarding burn-in, ASUS has implemented robust preventative measures. Their ASUS OLED Care technology includes a Pixel Refresh feature that activates when the laptop is idle, and a Pixel Shift function that subtly adjusts pixels to prevent static image burn-in. These innovations, coupled with default Windows settings like Dark Mode and auto-hide taskbars, further safeguard the longevity and performance of their OLED screens.

By continually developing and refining their multi-display laptops, ASUS not only enhances the user experience, but also solidifies its reputation as a pioneer in the tech industry.

With their comprehensive range of models, ASUS provides solutions that cater to both the productivity needs of professionals and the rigorous demands of gamers, ensuring every customer finds the perfect laptop to meet their needs.
