Lucasfilm Games has announced Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a high-octane racing adventure set in the lawless Outer Rim, will launch on 6 October 2026. Pre-orders are now live, with Standard (US$59.99), Deluxe (US$79.99), and a premium Collector’s Edition (US$159.99) available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In the game, players step into the cockpit as Shade, a mysterious pilot competing in the Galactic League, an unsanctioned circuit where rivalries and grudges fuel every race. The single-player campaign lets racers forge alliances and customize repulsorcraft across three distinct styles, while multiplayer modes pit pilots against each other in skill-driven battles. Podracers return as a playable vehicle class, offering fans a nostalgic yet modern thrill.
Pre-order bonuses include a platform-specific livery for landspeeders, speeder bikes, and skim speeders, plus a multiplayer Player Banner. The Deluxe Edition adds three exclusive vehicles (Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Ciza T speeder bike and Rak S skim speeder), special Arcade events, a Deluxe Livery Pack, multiplayer banner upgrades, and a Digital Art Book.
For die-hard fans, the Collector’s Edition delivers a physical Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder model, champion Kestar Bool banner, pilot patches, steel case, slip cover, and a printed Art Book—alongside all Deluxe digital content.
