Singapore’s First Shonen Jump Pop-up Store Assembles One Piece, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball & More In May 2025

Japanese magazine Shonen Jump has long been a household name in the world of anime and culture, and fans in Singapore can soon look forward to celebrating its legacy with a special flair. In a first for the country, the Pop Up! Jump Character Store will be held at Jewel Changi Airport from 10 May to 31 August 2025, featuring official goods from popular series like One Piece, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, and more.

While merchandise specifics are expected at a later date via the official website, product types include limited-edition shirts, tote bags, and exclusive novelty items. “As a vibrant hub for manga culture in Southeast Asia, Singapore is the perfect destination to attract fans from across the region,” said Ng Kuan Luen, director of Omnisekai, the company spearheading the event.

He added in a statement, “Being in Jewel makes this experience even more special, and we are as excited as the fans to celebrate their favourite characters in such an extraordinary setting.”

The Shonen Jump pop-up store is located on the fourth floor (#04-235 / 236), with its opening hours listed as 10am to 10pm daily. It’s the latest geek space to join after Pokémon Center Singapore, also housed on the same level, and Nintendo’s first pop-up store in the region, which ran from 17 November 2023 to 1 January 2024.

Launched in July 1968 as a bi-monthly magazine, Shonen Jump became a weekly publication in 1969 and is home to multiple series that have surpassed 100 million copies in total. Some of its best-selling works include One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach — otherwise known as the Big Three in the early to mid-2000s — as well as more recent titles like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, and more.
