Fans of all things sci-fi and fantasy are in for a treat, as The PORTALS Experience, a massive immersive odyssey created for RPG and TCG fans, collectors, or speculative fiction enthusiasts, is making its Singapore debut from June 2026, bringing the world of fiction to life, right here on our shores.
Happening from June to September 2026 at Fever Exhibition Hall, Scotts Road, The PORTALS Experience will cover a staggering 13,000 sq ft of everything speculative fiction, comprising over three hundred original paintings and sketches, eight immersive realms, and over 10,000 books and handcrafted miniatures, making it a true superfan’s dream.
Following the evolution of sci-fi, fantasy, and gaming through art, the experience will take visitors on a journey through eight custom-built realms, where they can bear witness to legendary hand-painted canvases hailing from art icons like Darrell K. Sweet, Boris Vallejo, and John Harris, masterpieces that helped define the golden age of SFF (the combined literary/media genre of Science Fiction and Fantasy).
If just glimpsing these pure works of art wasn’t enough, the exhibition will also house thousands of highly detailed miniatures, each painstakingly hand-painted for that added touch of personality. What’s more, visitors can feast their eyes on its centrepiece, three massive dioramas depicting an Atlantis recreation, a medieval battle scene, and the world premiere of “The Forever War”, a 32ft masterpiece featuring thousands of hand-painted figures and bespoke terrain. Superfans can also check out a vast array of vintage books and even deep-cut memorabilia.
