Over the last 5 years, smart desks have only gotten better and better. With adjustable heights and a plethora of additional customisations, it isn’t surprising to see everyone join in on the hype. Singapore-based Omidesk by Aftershock PC has been killing the game but now their collaboration has reached a new level with the new Omnidesk Vision.
Redefining what it means to be a “smart desk”, the Omnidesk Vision consists of the iconic Omnidesk Pro and a small form factor PC called the Vision Mini that comes with an innovative Vesa system, enabling complete flexibility in mounting the chassis anywhere under the desk while still allowing you to detach it for maintenance and future upgrades.
This little PC packs a relatively powerful punch with a quad-core AMD Ryzen 5 3400G AM4 Processor complete with 8GB of RAM as well as 512GB SSD, all of which are of course, upgradeable. This makes the Omnidesk Vision great not only for day-to-day office work but for creatives in need of photo-editing capabilities.
Unlike other smart desks, this one has a sleek, minimalist design complemented by the wide array of customisations. If white and black are too plain for your taste, you might want to opt for their Solid Walnut tops. The Solid Walnut upgrade is available in three options, Fingerjoint Walnut, Walnut Plank and Resin River Walnut, providing you with a one-of-kind desk.
The Omnidesk Vision is set to be a limited release and will be launched at Comex 2019 on September 5, 2019, with a launch price of S$1,499. All tables are made to order and will be ready for shipment after approximately 8-10 weeks. Upgrades from the regular tops to the Solid Walnut tops start from $469. If you want to grab your own Omnidesk Vision, just place your interest at their Comex 2019 booth.
