‘League of Legends’ Band HEARTSTEEL Drops Epic Debut Single ‘PARANOIA’ Music Video

Riot Games has once again expanded its musical horizon by introducing HEARTSTEEL, a dynamic band comprising iconic League of Legends champions. Today, the band made a grand entrance onto the global music scene, releasing their debut single PARANOIA. Within hours, the song amassed over 3.5 million views on YouTube.

The track boasts an instrumental crafted by Aphelios, while the vocals are passionately delivered by champions Ezreal, Kayn, K’Sante, and Sett. These in-game characters receive their unique voices from diverse real-life artists. Ezreal’s voice is lent by BAEKHYUN, a renowned member of K-pop sensations EXO and SuperM. Cal Scruby, a rapper acclaimed for his witty lyrics, voices Kayn. Sett gets his sound from ØZI, a multifaceted singer-songwriter and creative director. Rounding off the quartet, the versatile Tobi Lou lends his voice to K’Sante.

Yone masterfully produced and fine-tuned PARANOIA, ensuring every detail complements the vibrant essence of HEARTSTEEL. The song seamlessly transitions between different genres, thanks to the eclectic mix of artists behind it. This distinctive blend sets HEARTSTEEL apart from other League-based bands, which typically stick to a singular musical style. While PARANOIA has its distinct flavour, it’s not as easy to sing along to as the Worlds 2023 anthem GODS by NewJeans.

The accompanying music video is a visual treat, showcasing Riot Games’ signature animation style. It brilliantly portrays the champions in cinematic scenarios, reflecting their individual personas. Steering clear of typical boy band tropes, HEARTSTEEL infuses the video with humor and unique character-driven moments.

Riot Games’ commitment to crafting immersive experiences for the League fanbase and music aficionados shines through with HEARTSTEEL‘s entrance. The band, as their debut suggests, is poised to make a lasting mark in the world of virtual music.

Fans are in for a treat as HEARTSTEEL is slated to perform PARANOIA at the upcoming League of Legends World Championship. The tournament hosted in South Korea is currently navigating the group stages. The event promises thrilling encounters as it progresses, culminating in a grand finale on 19 November.
