The newest chapter in Gameloft’s renowned Gangstar mobile game franchise, Gangstar Mirage City, is set to arrive on 20 August 2026, with pre-registrations for the free-to-play multiplayer open-world game now open, offering exclusive launch rewards for early registrants in Southeast Asia, including Singapore.

Gangstar Mirage City marks the next chapter in the long-running mobile game franchise, with its roots tracing back to 2006 with the 2D action-adventure, Gangstar: Crime City. Since then, the franchise has seen eight more entries, with the most recent being 2017’s Gangstar: New Orleans. Published by Level Infinite and developed by Gameloft, this next entry brings an expansive open world combining structured narrative content and emergent gameplay systems that allow players to carve their own path.
Centred around player choice, Gangstar Mirage City features multiple gameplay possibilities, allowing players to build their own empire by taking control of territories around the city to generate income and influence, using these gains to upgrade and customise their arsenal and vehicles to suit every situation. Featuring diverse districts ranging from high-tech urban centres to rugged outskirts, players can collect an extensive line-up of vehicles to participate in high-speed races or team up with their friends for cooperative heists. The game will also feature a robust line-up of PvP (player versus player) activities, including team-based vehicle combat, last-player-standing showdowns, and objective-driven clashes.
The game’s pre-registration campaign will invite players to join the Global Vault Heist, a milestone-based reward program that unlocks more exclusive in-game items the more players sign up. Early registrants can also pledge allegiance to one of the game’s four factions – O-Rage, The Family, The Ghosts, and Jersey Boyz – with each faction offering unique rewards. Additionally, each player can also recruit up to three friends into their crew for more pre-registration bonuses.

Gangstar Mirage City’s SEA launch will also build on player feedback from its initial soft launch in the Philippines, bringing refined gameplay and deeper localisation across Southeast Asia. The game will be available in nine languages when it launches, including English, Tagalog, Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish, with the translations spanning menus, mission objectives, dialogue and item descriptions.
Gangstar Mirage City is now open for pre-registration in Southeast Asia via the game’s official website, with the title soft launching on 20 August 2026.
