“We are thrilled to welcome back the beloved English voice cast reprising their roles for Infinity Castle,” said Mitchel Berger, executive VP of global commerce for Crunchyroll. “Their iconic voices have greatly contributed to the admiration of the characters and popularity of the franchise. And, we are excited to welcome Channing Tatum, who discovered his love of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and anime through watching the series with his daughter, along with Rebecca Wang as the English voices of Keizo and Koyuki.”

The first in a planned trilogy set to adapt the Infinity Castle arc, the highly anticipated anime film follows Tanjiro (voiced by Natsuki Hanae in the Japanese dub) and his fellow demon slayers as they battle the most powerful of Muzan Kibutsuji’s (Toshihiko Seki / Greg Chun) in the titular dimensional stronghold.

Unlike the Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training compilation films, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is a feature-length work that looks to adapt the first part of one of the final arcs of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga. Animation studio ufotable is back at the helm alongside director Haruo Sotozaki, who helmed the anime series and its first feature, Infinity Train. The main soundtracks, “Taiyō ga Noboranai Sekai” (“A World Where the Sun Never Rises”) and “Zankoku no Yoru ni Kagayake” (“Shine in the Cruel Night”) are performed by Aimer and LiSA, respectively.

Following in the successful footsteps of Infinity Train, the latest big-screen instalment has surpassed several box-office milestones since its debut in Japan. It earned a new all-time high for opening numbersbecame the fastest movie to gross 10 billion yen domestically, and retained its No.1 spot for the third consecutive week.

The global rollout of Infinity Castle will take place in phases, starting with Thailand on 12 August; Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Pakistan on 14 August; Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam on 15 August; and the Philippines on 20 August. It will screen in the United States and Canada starting 12 September.
