CASETiFY Enters Premium Luggage Space, Challenges Rimowa With Signature Bounce Technology

CASETiFY, founded in 2011 as an e-commerce platform for customisable phone cases, has since grown into a global powerhouse, selling over 20 million phone cases worldwide and expected to make US$300 million in revenue for 2024. The company’s next foray is in the luxury travel category, offering an alternative to brands like Rimowa with the launch of its first durable, customisable made-to-order premium luggage collection, CASETiFY Travel.

The new collection features the Bounce 21-inch Carry-On Suitcase (US$399), Tech Pack Organizer (US$50), and Packing Cube Set (US$35). The Bounce Carry-On Suitcase features CASETiFY’s proprietary Bounce technology, redesigned and scaled for luggages. Its body is made of German-engineered Bayer’s Makrolon polycarbonate shell for superior durability. It weighs in at an ultra-light 3.73kg (8.23 lbs) and is equipped with smooth and quiet 360° Hinomoto Lisof wheels. The luggage also has an aircraft-grade aluminum telescoping handle system and puncture-resistant YKK double racquet coil zipper with integrated TSA-approved locks, as well as a built-in AirTag pocket.

The made-to-order customization utilizes a patent-pending on-demand printing technology with full-surface customisation capabilities offering two font options. The CASETiFY Dot Font with 11 interchangeable font colours and 6 background colours, and the Skyline Font with a distinct set of 11 colours ranging from neutrals to bold tones and pastels.
