Anime Festival Asia (AFA) SG 2023: Pro Tips To Tackle Queue Changes And Entry Flow

It’s the end of the year and Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is back once again! With the large number of crowds and queues that bottlenecked day one of 2022’s event, there has been small operational tweaks to the event.

Based on the event guide, instead of having the queues for ticket redemption placed on the third floor of Suntec City as per previous years, the booth has been moved to the ground floor.

Located to the left of the huge LED wall, the ticketing and wristband redemption queue saw quite a bit of crowd on Wednesday (22 November) evening and it closed at 7.30PM. However, when we visited the area around 12PM on Thursday (23 November) the queue was moving along nicely.

While we cannot expect the queues to be the same on event day, it does make sense to head on down early to grab your wristbands ahead of the exhibition days.

Heading up to the third floor, this area will be demarcated for bag checks and based on the event guide there will be only one traffic flow up to the exhibition area.

Be sure to get hold of your RFID tags and take part in activities at AFA but if you’re one of the lucky few who were able to get hold of Saturday’s stage and exhibition tickets, there’s a fan looking for some help –

All the best everyone this weekend for AFA, and pass the information to your friends who will be visiting the event as it would come in handy.
