GeraldI have a certain friend on Facebook who, without fail, will post each time he watches a terrible movie. It is almost as if he’s baiting for responses from folks who claim to be more cultured and educated in movies to school him in the finer things of film-making. If there’s a special place that he be turning up this week, it’ll definitely at the Singapore Fail Film Festival.
Across the next two weekends on 17, 23 & 24 of October 2015, the Fail Film Festival will be featuring the cheesiest movie trilogy (up to this point) in recent memory – Sharknado.
If you’ve never had a chance to watch the movie, I’m not sure if I should actually make a recommendation. Sharknado is definitely one of movies that you’d enjoy if you grew up watching Evil Dead and playing plenty of Duke Nukem. Calling Sharknado crude would be a total understatement.

But there will always a community of fans who will be willing to pay top dollar to watch the film again on the big screen. The sweetener this time round would be that Sharknado 3 will be premiering for the first time ever in Singapore in a cinema. So if you’re like my friend who caught the show months back on SyFy, this would be a great opportunity that should not be missed.
