If you are fan of Snapchat and all its filters, Facebook is making a big play to get you back to the biggest social media platform there is.
And the company is enlisting help from some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Wonder Woman, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Minions, and even the xenomorph from Alien: Covenant.
The new Stories feature is now available to all mobile users, and it comes with a treasure trove of filters, frames, masks, and effects to put Snapchat in its place. Even better yet, you can layer multiple frames over a single shot, creating some really awesome and bizarre combinations.
There are around 50 filters/Facebook masks to choose from, and it’s pretty awesome to have the Power Rangers, Aliens, and even Groot of Guardians of the Galaxy fame share a frame with you. As they say, a picture’s worth a thousand words, so take a gander at some of the filters at work, and see for yourself what Stories can do for the selfie-loving people of our generation.

To enable the feature, tap on the camera icon found in the latest version of the Facebook app. Tap the Magic Wand icon on the bottom left of the screen and select from the many filters that pop up.
